Cannot deposit or dispense coins - both coin devices inoperable
1) Insure the Coin Vault door is shut and locked.
2) Insure the Coin Vault top cover (over Coins Sorter) is in the closed position.
3) Use the Door and Sensor Maintenance menu to check the functionality of the Coin Vault
Sensors.
Login > Maintenance Menu > Door Solenoids and Sensors
X Block and unblock the Door Sensors.
If the Sensor status does not change appropriately:
a) Check the physical condition of the Sensors.
b) Check the “quick connect” at the Sensor cables (if equipped).
c) Check the connection at terminal J10 on the Hardware Support PCB.
4) Check the data cable connection at the top/rear of the Note Handler.
5) One of the Door Sensors may be defective.
Carrier Tray is not properly inserted - Insert Carrier Tray all the way in
1) Insure the Coin Receiving Tray is installed fully into the Coin Receiving Tray Rack
2) Extend the Coin Receiving Tray Rack fully and check the operation of the sensor actuator pin at
the sensor when the tray is installed.
3) Use the Door and Sensor Maintenance menu to check the functionality of the Coin Vault
Sensors.
Login > Maintenance Menu > Door Solenoids and Sensors
X Block and unblock the Door Sensors.
If the Sensor status does not change appropriately:
a) Check the physical condition of the Sensors.
b) Check the “quick connect” at the Sensor cables (if equipped).
c) Check the connection at terminal J18 on the Hardware Support PCB
4) Possible defective Sensor.
5) Possible defective Hardware Support PCB.
Cassette Racked Out
1) Extend the Cassette Rack from the Note Recycler cradle.
a) Remove and re-insert each cassette
b) Insert the Cassette Rack fully into the Note Recycler cradle.
c) Close the Note Handler Door
d) From the Status/Note Recycler menu, perform a “Clear Errors”
Log In > Status (bottom tool bar) > Note Recycler > Clear Error
Select “I did nothing” to continue
