Not Communicating (Coin Recycler menu)
1) Insure the UPS (if equipped) is on.
2) Check VAC power cord connections at the rear of the UPS (if equipped)
3) Reset the Coin Handler communication.
Log In > Configuration Menu > Edit Configuration > Device Configuration > Coin Recycler
a) Select LAN connection.
b) Set Coin Sorter to “No Device”.
c) Exit menus (TR250 will reboot)
Log In > Configuration Menu > Edit Configuration > Device Configuration > Coin Recycler
d) Select LAN connection.
e) Set Coin Sorter to “LOCAL”.
f) Exit menus (TR250 will reboot)
4) Place the Coin Sorter ON/OFF switch in the OFF position for a minimum of 30 seconds.
Insure “.00 BATCH TOTAL” is displayed when power is re-applied.
If not:
a) Record the message on the Coin Sorter display and refer to the Error Message section in
this manual.
If the display is not lit:
a) Insure the Coin Sort Hood is properly closed.
b) Check the condition of the Coin Sorter Hood detection switch/actuator.
c) Check the circuit breaker (under the plastic cover).
d) Check the (2) 4 amp fuses located above the VAC power cord.
e) Check the VAC power cord connection at the rear of the Coin Sorter.
If .00 BATCH TOTAL is displayed:
a) Check the USB connections at the top/rear of the Note Handler vault.
b) Check the USB connections at the rear of the Control Computer (inside the Electronics
Bay
c) Check the USB connection at the rear of the Coin Sorter.
d) Perform a “Clear Errors” from the Coin Recycler Menu
Log In > Status (bottom tool bar) > Coin Recycler > Clear Errors
5) Possible defective Coin Sorter.
