Magazine X Initializing (one Dispenser only)
1) Dispenser not fully back on slide rack.
a) Check for obstructions behind the Dispenser
b) Ensure the Dispenser Latch is pulled forward
c) Check slide rack operation for interference .
3) Remove the Dispenser from the rack and inspect the Dispenser socket on the Dispenser Rack
(check for damage or pins/wires pushed out of the back of the socket.
4) Check the LED connection at terminal J4 on the Dispenser PCB.
5) Check the Dispenser connections on the Rolled Coin Dispenser PCB.
6) Move the non-working Dispenser to a working Dispenser’s position on the Dispenser Rack.
a) Disconnect VAC power from the Rolled Coin Dispenser and Host Controller (one minute
minimum,)
b) Perform a Rolled Coin Dispenser reset in the Diagnostics > Rolled Coin menu
c) Verify the LED status
If the LED is not illuminated, possible defective Dispenser.
If the non-working Dispenser shows an “OK” status. place the Dispenser back into the
appropriate rack space and re-check the status.
7) Check the Dispenser status in the Diagnostic Menu.
Login > More > Maintenance > Diagnostics > Rolled Coin Dispenser > Status
If the Dispenser shows “Not Present” in it’s original rack space:
a) Disconnect the NON-WORKING Dispenser’s power/data cable from the Rolled Coin
Dispenser PCB and move it to a working Dispenser’s power/data port.
b) Disconnect VAC power from the Rolled Coin Dispenser and Host Controller (one minute
minimum,)
c) Perform a Rolled Coin Dispenser reset in the Diagnostics > Rolled Coin menu
d) Check the Diagnostics > Rolled Coin > Status menu
If the non-working Dispenser still shows an “Initializing”, inspect the power/data
socket and associate wiring on the Dispenser Rack
If the non-working Dispenser now shows an “OK” status, the Rolled Coin Dispenser
PCB may be defective.
8) Possible defective Dispenser PCB.
9) Possible defective Rolled Coin Dispenser PCB.
