Static IP
The most commonly used form of network interface is TCP/IP using a Static IP address.
Data is sent un-encrypted, in XML or XML and Binary network packets.
Address entry:
Log In > Configuration Menu > Edit Configuration > POS Interface Menu
X Primary IP address
X Primary Port (if required)
X Secondary IP address
X Secondary Port (if required)
FTP file transfer
Entering the FTP server information allow files to be sent or retrieved via FTP.
The following parameters must be set for FTP transactions to occur:
Log In > Configuration Menu > Edit Configuration > Network Reports
X FTP Site 1 address
X FTP Site 2 address
X Send periodic report every XX minutes
VPN
VPN connection is typically used to monitor operational functionality of the TR250
The following parameters must be set for VPN connection to occur:
Log In > Configuration Menu > Edit Configuration > Enable Device Monitoring
