Accounting Period Names
Log In > Maintenance Menu
The names of the files that are created when an “End Accounting Period” is performed can be
altered.
Act as dual log in
Log In > Configuration Menu > Edit Groups, Mixes > Edit permission Groups > (Select Group)
A User’s Permission Group may require additional/secondary code entry by a different User (dual
access), in order to perform operations.
This function allows Users (in a Permission Group with this ability enabled), to provide the
authorizing (secondary), log in for Users which require Dual Log In when performing operations.
Act for others
Log In > Configuration Menu > Edit Groups, Mixes, etc > Permission Groups > (Select Group)
Note: If the Permission Groups is set to “Is A Manager”, the Act For Others function is always
enabled.
When this function is assigned to a group of Users, any user in that group can check in a register
that a different User checked out.
Typically used when an employee associated with a checked out register is not present and an
End Of Shift or Register Check In needs to be performed.
When an End Of Shift (Register Check In), is performed by a User with the ACT FOR OTHERS
ability:
If the TR Series Till Tracking is set to “NFC or Till ID” mode:
X Dept/Register can be selected from a displayed list
X The NFC Tag can be scanned
X The Till ID can be manually entered
If the TR Series Till Tracking is set to “User ID” mode:
X Register is selected from a displayed list of User Log In ID’s
If the TR Series Till Tracking is set to “Register Name or ID” mode:
X Register is selected from a displayed list of Registers/Tills.
