Enable Check In/Out Inventory Warnings
Log In > Configuration Menu > Edit Configuration > User Interface
Low note/coin level warnings will be displayed on the (idle) Main Screen when this function is
enabled.
High level note/coin inventory warnings are always displayed - this setting has no effect.
Enable POS Encryption
Log In > Configuration Menu > Edit Configuration > Device Configuration
ENABLED:
Data encryption is set to Tidel specified encryption type.
DISABLED:
Data is not encrypted
End Accounting Period
Log In > End Accounting Period
NOTE: When this function is selected, an “End Of Accounting Period” must be performed (cannot
be cancelled once selected).
When performed, files are created that contain activity and transaction history since the previous
End Accounting Period was performed.
If the “Use Named Accounting Period” is enabled, the User will be prompted to enter a name for
the ACCOUNTING PERIOD THAT IS BEGINNING.
Report files are typically displayed/selected by “previous to next” End Accounting Period date
ranges.
When printing an End Of Day/End Of Accounting Period report from the Reports Menu, the top
selection is always the current (open) accounting period.
End day
Log In > Configuration Menu > Edit Groups, Mixes, etc > Permission Groups > (Select Group)
Users linked to a Group with this ability can perform an “End Accounting Period” (a new reporting
period will begin).
