Courier Report does not print (all other reports print)
1) Insure the Solenoid Plunger moves freely.
2) Log into the Door Diagnostic menu and block/unblock the sensors to check operation.
Log In > More > Maintenance > Diagnostics > Doors
3) Check the connection at the Vault Door Locking Bolt Position Sensor.
4) Check the connection at Solenoid Plunger position Sensor.
5) Replace the suspected defective Sensor.
6) Check the connections at terminal J42 and J43 on the Distribution PCB.
7) Replace the Distribution PCB.
No printing (text) appears on paper when report is printed
1) Possible non-thermal paper loaded in Printer.
2) Paper possibly loaded incorrectly (paper roll installed backward).
3) Perform a power reset, (disconnect VAC power for 30 seconds minimum).
4) Check the USB data cable connection on the Printer PCB.
5) Check the USB data cable connection on the Control Computer.
6) Possible defective Printer.
Paper feeds continuously
1) Perform a power reset.
Prior to disconnecting VAC power from the Note Handler, perform a “Shut Down Computer”.
Log In > Exit > Shut Down Computer
2) Check Printer for signs of spillage or abuse.
3) Disconnect the Paper Feed/Cut buttons from the Printer PCB.
If paper stops feeding, the Paper Feed Button may be defective.
If paper continues to feed, the Printer may be defective.
Paper LED flashes
1) Perform a power reset, (disconnect VAC power for 30 seconds minimum).
2) Insure paper is loaded properly (reload).
3) Check the Ribbon Cable connections on the Printer PCB.
4) Loosen the mounting screws which secure the Printer assembly in the housing and insure the
Printer is not binding when screws are secured (do not overtighten).
Paper “walks” back and forth when printing
1) Typically caused by incorrect width/thickness paper.
2) Check the roller assembly (mounted on inside of paper loading door), for paper debris or
stripped/worn gears.
