Sensors
The Coin Handler is equipped with (5) infrared sensors.
All sensors are interchangeable.
All sensors are connected to the Hardware Support PCB
f Coin Handler Top Cover.
f Coin Collection Rack.
f Coin Collection Tray present
f Coin Handler Vault Door (equipped with 2 infrared sensors).
Coin Handler Vault Door Sensors:
f Door Position Sensor - located at the top (non-hinge) side of the door.
Detects the door is completely shut - When the door is closed, a “tab” in the upper left door
frame blocks the sensor.
f Door Lock Sensor - located under the vault door Solenoid.
Detects when Solenoid Plunger is in the (down), locked position.
Coin Collection Tray Present Sensor:
f Located at the rear of the Coin Collection Tray Rack
Detects the Coin Collection Tray is installed.
When the Coin Collection Tray is fully inserted into the rack, a plunger at the rear of the rack is
pushed back to block this sensor.
Coin Collection Tray Rack Sensor:
f Located at the front/bottom of the Coin Collection Tray Rack
Detects the position of the Coin Tray Rack:
Inserted in the Coin Handler (Dispense to Coin Tray position)
Fully extended (Dispense to Overflow Bin position)
Coin Handler Top Cover Sensor:
f Located near the Top Cover hinge, above the Power Supply Assembly
Detects the position of the Top Cover.
