Testing Sensors (Diagnostic Menus)
Coin Handler Top Cover
1) Open the Coin Handler Top Cover.
The displayed sensor map should indicate the sensor is OPEN.
2) Close the top cover on the Coin Handler
The displayed sensor map should indicate the Top Cover Sensor is CLOSED.
Coin Receiving Tray/Rack
1) Ensure the Coin Collection Tray is in place.
The displayed sensor map indicates “Coin Collection Tray Inserted”
2) Remove the Coin Collection Tray from the rack.
The displayed sensor map should indicate the “Coin Collection Tray Not Seated”
3) Extend the Coin Collection Tray Rack fully outward.
The displayed sensor map should indicate the “Collection Tray Platform Out”.
4) Place the Coin Collection Tray Rack fully into the Coin Handler.
The displayed sensor map should indicate the “Coin Collection Tray Not Seated”.
1) Place the Coin Collection Tray in place
The displayed sensor map indicates “Coin Collection Tray Inserted”
To test a Sensor (Voltage Test):
1) Access the Hardware Support PCB.
2) Check voltage at the white wire on the appropriate sensor connector of the Hardware Support
PCB (See Hardware Support PCB in this section).
X Block and unblock the Sensor.
The white wire should read approximately +5 VDC when blocked and no VDC
when unblocked (using chassis ground).
