Empty Reject
(Instructions when NOT processing rejected notes back into the Note Recycler)
Notes that are rejected during dispense transactions are placed in the Reject Cassette.
The Reject Cassette is located at the top/rear of the Note Recycler.
When this function is selected - The following steps are required to access the Reject Cassette
Log In > Status (bottom tool bar) > Note Recycler > Empty Reject
a) Open the Note Recycler Door and Note Collection Area Coverplate.
b) Extend the Note Recycler from the Note Handler cabinet.
c) Remove and empty the Reject Cassette.
d) Secure the Note Recycler into the Note Handler cabinet (door must be shut and locked).
e) Select the (highlighted) Reject Cassette from the displayed menu.
Select “I emptied the cassette”
After removing notes from the Reject Cassette - the User will be prompted to place the rejected
notes into the Note Collection area
a) Select DONE
b) A prompt will be displayed - “Were you unable to feed any of the note reject area notes”
Select YES
c) A note entry screen will appear - enter the number and type of notes that were not
deposited back into the Note Recycler
Select Done
d) A prompt may be displayed - “Would you like to drop the refused notes”
NO = The reject process will proceed.
YES = A drop reference entry screen will appear - enter the drop reference number.
e) A prompt will be displayed - “Did you recover any notes from the transport”
NO = The reject process will end
YES = The User will be prompted to add notes recovered from the Note Recycler
feed path area.
To process notes removed from the Reject Cassette back into the Note Recycler
