Note Rejection Processes
Reject causes and results:
Notes that are rejected during dispense transactions are placed in the Reject Cassette.
The Reject Cassette is located at the top/rear of the Note Recycler.
DESPOSIT TRANSACTIONS:
X Notes that cannot be identified by the Note Recycler are always presented back to the
note insertion/collection area.
X Notes that can be identified, but are unacceptable are routed to the Deposit Cassette
X Notes that can be identified by the Note Recycler and are acceptable are deposited into
the appropriate Recycle Cassette.
DISPENSE TRANSACTIONS:
Notes that are rejected during dispense transactions are placed in the Reject Cassette.
Possible Reject Causes - Reject Cassette Count Methods
X Unacceptable bill condition
Each reject incident is counted as (1) note deposited in the reject cassette.
If the note could be identified, the denomination will be recognized.
If the note could not be identified, it will be assigned the denomination of the cassette it
was dispensed from.
X Stream feed/overlapping bills
Each reject incident is counted as (1) note deposited in the reject cassette.
The note will be assigned the denomination of the cassette it was dispensed from.
Multiple notes may exist in the Reject Cassette (the number of overlapping notes nor
the identity of overlapping cannot be verified by the Note Recycler)
X Bill unrecognizable
Each reject incident is counted as (1) note deposited in the reject cassette.
The note will be assigned the denomination of the cassette it was dispensed from.
X Incorrect denomination in specified recycle cassette
Each reject incident is counted as (1) note deposited in the reject cassette.
The note denomination will be recognized and the Reject Cassette value will increase
appropriately.
