Before You Start
All Cassettes, Coin Hoppers and the Overflow Bin should be emptied prior to beginning
cleaning procedures.
This check list should be used in conjunction with Tidel document #450-0485-001

Following the Checklist and performing the Tidel R50 Preventive Maintenance Guide
cleaning operations IN ORDER will prevent repeating disassembly/reassembly routines
Tools Required
Bucket
Cleaning cloths
Extendable magnetic pickup tool
Hand Held Vacuum with crevice attachments (1+ HP recommended)
Hand held can of compressed air
Long cotton swabs
Magnetic Phillips and Straight Screwdrivers
Magnetic (JIS) #1 and #2 screwdrivers
Mild Water/Soap dilution mix
Soft Bristle Brush (Toothbrush)
When Performing Cleaning Routines
X If prompted to disconnect VAC power , it is STRONGLY recommended that a “Shut Down
Computer” is performed prior to disconnecting VAC power from the R50
Failure to shut down computer can result in corruption of database files !
Log In > Exit > Shut Down Computer
X Follow cleaning procedures in order:
1) Vacuum entire first.
2) Wipe surface areas.
3) Clean designated sensors/belts/rollers. etc...
