Fingerprint Reader (maintenance)
Log In > Maintenance Menu
A finger can be placed on the Fingerprint Reader.
A displayed image of the fingerprint indicates functionality.
Fingerprint Reader (user settings)
Log In > User Management > Modify User > User Log In Data
ENABLED:
The user can place an enrolled finger on the reader to log in
The User Log In Method must allow use of the Fingerprint Reader and prompt for Fingerprint
enrollment.
DISABLED:
The user must enter a Log On ID/PIN on the Touchscreen to perform operations
Fingerprint Reader
Log In with the Fingerprint Reader only
No PIN numbers should exist in the User’s setup.
The User must be present to enroll fingerprints.
Log In > User Management > Modify User > User Log In Data
a) Select the User
b) Select Modify User
c) Select User Login Setup
d) Select Logon Data
If the “Keypad” selection is subdued, PIN codes are assigned to the User and must
be removed
X Select KEYPAD
X Select UN-ENROLL
If the “Fingerprint” selection is subdued, ngerprints are assigned to the User and
must be removed (if incorrect)
X Select FINGERPRINT
X Select UN-ENROLL
e) Select Fingerprint
X The User will be prompted to apply a finger to the Fingerprint Reader (requires 4
positive reads).
Forego remedial videos
Log In > Configuration Menu > Edit Groups, Mixes, etc > Permission Groups > (Select Group)
Users linked to a Group wit this ability can “skip” error remedy videos.
Force Backup now
Log In > Configuration Menu > Force Backup Now
This function will copy the operating parameters, hardware configuration, User information and
report history to a selected flash drive installed on the TR Series.
