Door Hinge Lubrication
************* WARNING *************
X Hinge lubrication requires removal of the Vault Doors
a) The door weighs approximately 70 lbs.
b) Door cabling is short and does not allow the door to be placed more than a few inch-
es from the hinges.
c) In the event the door falls away from the cabinet, damage WILL occur to cabling and
components as well as the customer’s flooring.
1) Open the Vault Door at least 90 degrees.
2) Place a hand into the vault door opening for the “Foreign Object Reject Tray”, just below the
Printer (use of a cloth is recommended to protect hands).
3) Lift the door from the hinges and place it on the floor as close to the hinges as possible.
*** Ensure the door is secure set and cannot fall.
*** Do not stretch the cables attached to the door.
4) Place a small amount of a moly based grease on the hinge pins.
5) Carefully place the door back onto the hinges
Repeat this process for the Coin Handler Vault Door
Lift door from hinges
Keep door close to hinges to avoid
cabling/component damage
