Coins Jam
1) Remove the Coin Loading Tray and inspect the feed wheel area.
2) Open the Coin Sorter hood and inspect the feed wheel exit area for jams.
3) Perform cleaning routines.
4) Insure the Coin Drive Disk is seated properly (engages alignment pin).
5) Inspect the Coin Drive Disk fins for damage.
6) Check the Coin Exit Slots for blockage.
7) Check the Coin Sorting plate for damage/obstructions.
8) Check the Coin Rail and gasket.
9) Check the condition of the Coin Hopper Manifold (coin channels), check for blockage.
Coin Sorter does not run (Sorter display not illuminated)
1) Insure the UPS (if equipped) is on.
2) Check VAC power cord connections at the rear of the UPS (if equipped)
3) Insure the Coin Sort Hood is properly closed.
4) Check the condition of the Coin Sorter Hood detection switch/actuator.
5) Check the VAC power cord connection at the rear of the Coin Sorter.
6) Place the Coin Sorter ON/OFF switch in the OFF position for a minimum of 30 seconds.
7) Check the (2) 4 amp fuses located above the VAC power cord.
Coin Sorter does not run (Sorter display is illuminated)
1) Place the Coin Sorter ON/OFF switch in the OFF position for a minimum of 30 seconds.
Insure “.00 BATCH TOTAL” is displayed when power is re-applied.
2) Insure the Coin Sorter Hood is closed properly.
3) Check the USB connections at the top/rear of the Note Handler vault.
4) Check the USB connections at the rear of the Control Computer (inside the Electronics Bay
5) Check the USB connection at the rear of the Coin Sorter.
6) Possible defective Coin Sorter.
