Notes will not dispense to your till during a checkout - Note Recycler Cassettes
Empty
1) Perform a power reset.
Prior to disconnecting VAC power from the Note Handler/UPS, perform a “Shut Down
Computer”.
Log In > Exit > Shut Down Computer
2) Perform a “Clear Jam/Errors” from the Note Recycler Menu
Log In > Status (bottom tool bar) > Note Recycler > Clear Jams/Errors
3) Insure notes actually exist in the Recycle Cassettes and the note count reflects the correct
number of notes in the Cassette.
Log In > Status (bottom tool bar) > Note Recycler > Note Exchange
Printer Not Communicating
1) Check the gears on the Roller assembly on the Printer Door and insure the Roller assembly
bracket is not bent or broken.
2) Check the gears on the Printer.
1) Perform a power reset.
Prior to disconnecting VAC power from the Note Handler/UPS, perform a “Shut Down
Computer”.
Log In > Exit > Shut Down Computer.
2) Check Printer for signs of spillage or abuse.
3) Check the USB data cable connection on the Printer PCB.
4) Check the USB data cable connection on the Control Computer.
5) Perform a “Reset Printer” from the diagnostics menu
Log In > Maintenance > Printer Reset
Status should indicate “Ready”
If not , Select REBOOT and repeat step 4
8) Replace the FlashCard.
9) Check the +24 VDC at the Printer
If correct, the Printer may be defective
10) If incorrect, check the +24 VDC at the upper connector on the Power Supply Chassis
If incorrect, the +24 VDC power Supply may be defective or require adjustment
If correct, the Distribution PCB may be defective
