General information
The Combination Lock is a backup lock to the Door Solenoid and is mounted in the cabinet VD (vertical
down).
When the dial is turned, a plate (secured to the locking bolt), lifts the Solenoid Plunger, allowing the
locking mechanism to move.
In the event of a Solenoid failure, the combination lock can be used to open the vault door.
Opening the door for the rst time
1) From the factory, the default combination is 1-2-3-4-5-6.
b) Enter 1-2-3-4-5-6 on the keypad and rotate the dial to retract the bolt and open the door.
To change the default combination
1) Enter six zero’s (the lock will beep TWO times).
2) Enter 1-2-3-4-5-6 (the lock will beep TWO times).
3) Enter the new six digit combination (the lock will beep TWO times).
4) Enter the new six digit combination again (the lock will beep TWO times).
IMPORTANT: Enter the combination and open the lock with the door open before closing
and locking the door!

Combination Lock Battery Replacement
Repeated beeping during opening or a continuous flashing LED indicates a low battery condition. The
battery should be replaced immediately with a 9vdc alkaline battery.
1) Gently pull down on the Battery Cover Handle to remove the Battery Cover.
2) Remove and replace the Battery.
3) Place the Battery Cover so that one end of the cover is inserted into the Combination Lock body
first, then snap the opposite end into place.
X Insure the lock dial is in the locked position (keypad level and straight).
X Insure the wires connected to the battery are not protruding from the battery
cavity.
