switchport general pvid
Use this command to configure the Port VLAN ID (PVID) when the interface is in
general mode. (Use the switchport mode general command to set the VLAN
membership mode of a port to general.) To configure the default value, use the
no form of this command. The VLAN ID might belong to a non-existent VLAN.
switchport general pvid vlan-id
no switchport general pvid vlan-id
Syntax Descriptions
Default
The default PVID is 1. If the VLAN ID is non-existent, then VLAN ID is set to the
reserved VLAN, 4094.
