switchport mode
Use this command to configure the VLAN membership mode of a port. To reset
the mode to the appropriate default for the switch, use the no form of this
command.
switchport mode {access | trunk | general}
no switchport mode
Syntax Descriptions
Command Description
switchport trunk
native-vlan
Configures the VLAN ID of the native VLAN for the port.
show interfaces
switchport
Displays the switchport configuration.
Parameter Description
access An access port is a member of only one VLAN and its PVID
is set to that VLAN ID. The port Accept Frame Type is set
to Accept Only Untagged and Priority Tagged frames. An
access port only egresses untagged packets.
