dot1x timeout supp-timeout
Use this command to set the time that the switch waits for a response before
retransmitting an Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP)-request frame to the
client. To return to the default setting, use the no form of this command.
Change the default value of this command only to adjust for unusual
circumstances, such as unreliable links or specific behavioral problems with
certain clients and authentication servers. To provide a faster response time to the
user, enter a smaller number than the default.

show dot1x Shows a summary of the global 802.1X configuration,
summary information of the 802.1X configuration for a
specified port or all ports, the detailed 802.1X
configuration for a specified port and the 802.1X statistics
for a specified port.
Parameter Description
seconds The time that the switch waits for a response before
retransmitting an Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP)-
request frame to the client. The range is 1–65535 seconds.
