INSTALLATION
(1) Install the front tow hook bracket and fasten-
ers. Torque bolts to 23 to 34 N.m.
(2) Reinstall the front fascia as necessary. Refer to
Group 23, Body for Removal and Installation proce-
dures.
(3) Lower vehicle from the hoist.
(4) Install the tow hook into the tow hook bracket.
(5) Reconnect the negative battery cable at the
remote battery post.
REAR TOW HOOK BRACKET
REMOVAL
(1) Hoist and support vehicle. Refer to Group 0,
Lubrication and Maintenance, for proper lifting pro-
cedure.
(2) Remove bolts holding rear tow hook bracket to
rear frame rail (Fig. 3) (Fig. 4).
(3) Separate rear tow hook bracket from vehicle.
INSTALLATION
(1) Position rear tow hook bracket on vehicle.
(2) Install bolts to hold rear tow hook bracket to
rear frame rail.
(3) Lower vehicle.
