(6) Open the glove box door and remove the four
screws retaining the instrument panel upper right
trim bezel.
(7) Remove the screw located directly above the
HVAC control head opening retaining the instrument
panel upper right trim bezel. Remove the instrument
panel upper right trim bezel.
(8) Remove lower screws from the left and right
sides of the cluster bezel.
(9) Pull the instrument cluster bezel away from I.
P. and disconnect the headlamp (leveling) switch.
Remove the bezel and switch from the vehicle.
(10) Remove the screws retaining the switch to the
cluster bezel and remove switch.
INSTALLATION
(1) Install the screws retaining the switch to the
cluster bezel.
(2) Connect the headlamp (leveling) switch. Posi-
tion the bezel and switch on the I. P.
(3) Install the lower screws on the left and right
sides of the cluster bezel.
(4) Install the screw located directly above the
HVAC control head opening retaining the instrument
panel upper right trim bezel.
(5) Install the four screws retaining the instru-
ment panel upper right trim bezel and close the glove
box door.
(6) Install the upper screws in cluster bezel,
located just above gauges.
(7) Connect HVAC control head and install the
center trim bezel.
(8) Connect trunk release switch and parking
brake handle and install lower left instrument panel
cover on the I. P.
(9) Install the left instrument panel end cover.
(10) Connect the remote negative battery cable.
(11) Verify switch operation.
REAR FOG LAMP SWITCH
The rear fog lamp switch is integrated into the
headlamp switch on LH vehicles. For a removal and
installation procedure of the rear fog lamp switch
refer to the Headlamp (Leveling) Switch removal and
installation procedure in this group.
