45 interface
This command configures network interfaces and includes the following subcommands:
network-interface (see Section 45.1)
osn (see Section 45.2)
45.1 interface network-interface
This command configures the IP Interfaces table, which lets you define local IP network
interfaces.
Syntax
(config-network)# interface network-interface <Index>

Configures the applications allowed on the IP
interface.
gateway
Configures the IPv4/IPv6 address of the default
gateway.
ip-address
Configures the IPv4/IPv6address in dotted-
decimal notation of the network interface.
mode {ipv4-manual|ipv6-
manual|ipv6-manual-prefix}
Configures the method that the interface uses to
acquire its IP address.
Configures a name for the network interface.
Configures the prefix length of the IP address.
primary-dns
Configures the primary DNS server's IP address
(in dotted-decimal notation), which is used for
translating domain names into IP addresses for
the interface.
secondary-dns
Configures the secondary DNS server's IP
address (in dotted-decimal notation), which is
used for translating domain names into IP
addresses for the interface.
underlying-dev
Assigns an Ethernet Device (see Section 47) to
the network interface.
