Command Description
secondary Sets secondary IP address for the VRID.
priority Sets the priority for VRID. The range is 1-254.
preempt Sets preemption for lower priority Master.
time in seconds Sets interval timer for advertising the Master VRID

The following is an example of how this command can be used.

(config-data)# interface VLAN 1
(conf-if-VLAN 1)# vrrp 1 ip 10.100.1
(conf-if-VLAN 1) # vrrp 1 prioity 200

description <string>
Command Description
string Specifies the interface description using an alphanumerical
string (up to 255 characters).

Note
 Use inverted commas when using the space character as part of the description.
 The string is limited to 255 characters.
