73.3.2 Fiber Optic Commands
The commands below describe Fiber Optic.
73.3.3 interface fiber
This command enters a specific interface configuration. Use the no form of this command to
delete a specific interface.
Syntax
interface fiber <slot/port>
interface fiber <slot/port[.vlanID]>
Command Description
slot Defines the module slot index as shown on the front panel.
port Defines the port index within the selected module.
vlanID Defines the VLAN ID for a Layer 3 sub interface.

Example
This example enters a specific interface configuration for the WAN Interface menu.
(config-data)#interface fiber 0/3
This example enters a specific interface configuration for the sub-Interface 3
menu.
(config-data)#interface fiber 0/3.3
