Remove the input tray.
Is the input tray cable connected
correctly?
Go to step 6. Reseat the cable.

Remove the LVPS. See “Low-voltage

Is the MPF drive belt (B) broken?
Replace the MPF drive
belt. See “MPF drive
assembly removal” on
page 4-106.
Go to step 7.

Is the MPF drive assembly damaged? Replace the MPF drive
assembly. See “MPF drive
assembly removal” on
page 4-106.
Go to step 8.

Replace the Input tray feed assembly.
Does the error reoccur?
Replace the system board.
