Finisher or stacker tamper drive belt removal
See “Finisher/High-capacity output stacker assembly (continued)” on page 7-27 for the part number.
1. Remove the option from the printer.
2. Remove the tamper drive motor from the belt you need to replace. See “Finisher or stacker tamper drive
motor assembly removal” on page 4-278.
3. Pull the belt out the tamper belt holder and remove the belt from the pulley.

Note: The left tamper motor controls the front tamper, and the right tamper motor controls the rear tamper.
1. Remove the option from the printer.
2. Remove the top cover. See “Finisher or stacker top cover removal” on page 4-280.
3. From the controller card, disconnect the cable for the motor you are removing: left motor (A); right motor
(B).
4. Disconnect the cable wrapped around the motor cables (C) to free the motor cable.
