DLP-D355 Change Distance Extension Port Settings for the FC_MR-4 Card
Note For the default values and domains of user-provisionable card settings, refer to the “Network Element
Defaults” appendix in the Cisco ONS 15454 SDH Reference Manual.
Step 1 In node view, double-click the FC_MR-4 card where you want to change the port settings.
Step 2 Click the Provisioning > Port > Distance Extension tabs.
Step 3 Modify any of the settings described in Table 20-28 by clicking in the field you want to modify. In some
fields you can choose an option from a drop-down list; in others you can type a value or select or deselect
a check box.
Link Recovery Enables or disables link recovery if a local
port is inoperable. If enabled, a link reset
occurs when there is a loss of transport from
a cross-connect switch, protection switch,
or an upgrade.

Media Type Sets the proper payload value for the
Transparent Generic Framing Protocol
(GFP-T) frames.
