Appendix C Use Add-On Instructions
Create the Ref_Axis Tag
To use the Kinetix 5100 drive Add-On Instructions, you must create a tag
Ref_Axis whose type is raC_UDT_Dvc_K5100_Assm. Follow these steps to
create a Ref_Axis tag.
1. In the Controller Organizer, right-click Controller Tags and click New
Tag.
The New Tag dialog box appears.
2. Type a name (for example, K5100_Axis) for the Tag.
3. In the Data Type field, click Browse and choose an Add-On Instruction
(for example, raC_UDT_Dvc_K5100_Assm).
4. Click OK.
The Add-On Instruction tag that you created, with the module-defined
data types, populates in the Controller Tags group.
IMPORTANT
All Add-On Instructions use the K5100_Axis as the operation object.
