Assigning Port VLAN IDs (PVIDs) and Ingress Filtering
Purpose
ToassigndefaultVLANIDstountaggedframesononeormoreports,toconfigureVLANingress
filteringand constraints,andtosettheframediscardmode.
Commands
show port vlan
UsethiscommandtodisplayportVLANidentifier(PVID)information.PVIDdeterminesthe
VLANtowhichalluntaggedframesreceivedononeormoreportswillbeclassified.
Syntax
show port vlan [port-string]
Parameters
Defaults
Ifport‐stringisnotspecified,portVLANinformationforallportswillbedisplayed.
Mode
Switchcommand,read‐only.
Example
ThisexampleshowshowtodisplayPVIDsassignedtoge.2.1through6.Inthiscase,untagged
framesreceivedontheseportswillbeclassifiedtoVLAN1:
B5(su)->show port vlan ge.2.1-6
ge.2.1 is set to 1
ge.2.2 is set to 1
ge.2.3 is set to 1
