Usage
InorderforansFlowCollectortobeassignedtoreceivesampledatagramsfromthesFlowAgent
ontheswitch,an entryforthatCollectormustbeconfiguredintheswitch’ssFlowReceiversTable.
Anentrymustcontainanowneridentitystring,anon‐zerotimeoutvalue,andtheIPaddress
of
theCollector.ConfiguretheIPaddresswiththesetsflowreceiveripcommand.
Anentrywithoutanowneridentitystringisconsideredunclaimedandcannotbe assignedasa
receivertosamplerorpollerinstances.
Oncethetimersetbythiscommandexpires,thereceiver/Collectorandallthesamplersand
pollersassociatedwiththisCollectorexpireandareremovedfromtheswitch’sconfiguration.In
ordertostartsendingsampledatatotheCollectoragain,theCollectormustbereconfiguredwith
anewtimeoutvalueandsamplersandpollersmustbeconfiguredagain.Therefore,youshould
considersettingthetimeoutvalueto
thelargestvaluethatisreasonableforyourenvironment.
