Usage
ThiscommanddisplaystheIPv6addressesconfiguredautomaticallyandwiththesetipv6
addressandsetipv6gatewaycommands.
Example
ThisexampledisplaystwoIPv6management(host)addressesconfiguredfortheswitch.Thefirst
listedisthelinklocaladdressthatwasautomat ically createdwhenIPv6wasenabledforthehost.
Thesecondaddressisaglobaladdressthatwasmanuallyconfigured.Thegatewayaddresswas
alsoautomaticallycreatedforthe
linklocaladdress.

prefix‐length ThelengthoftheIPv6prefixforthisaddress.Thevalueofprefix‐lengthisa
decimalnumberindicating
thenumberofhigh‐ordercontiguousbitsofthe
addressthatcomprisethenetworkportionoftheaddress.
