SecureStack B3 CLI Overview
EnterasysNetworks’SecureStackB3CLIinterfaceallowsyoutoperformavarietyofnetwork
managementtasks,includingthefollowing:
•UseCLIcommandstoperformnetworkmanagementandswitchconfigurationoperations.
• Downloadanewfirmwareimage.
• AssignIPaddressandsubnetmask.
•Selectadefaultgateway.
•EstablishandmanageVirtualLocalAreaNetworks(VLANs).
•Establish
andmanagepolicyprofilesandclassifications.
•Establishandmanagepriorityclassification.
• ConfigureIPv4routingandroutingprotocols,includingRIPversions1and2.
• Configuresecurityprotocols,including802.1XandRADIUS,SSHv2,PWA,MAClocking,and
MACauthentication.
Switch Management Methods
TheSecureStackB3switchcanbemanagedusingthefollowingmethods:
•LocallyusingaVTtypeterminalconnectedtotheconsoleport.
• RemotelyusingaVTtypetermina lconnectedthroughamodem.
