Themaclockfirstarrivalcountresetswhenthelinkgoesdown.Thisfeatureisbeneficialifyou
haveroamingusers—thefirstarrivalcountwillbereseteverytimeausermovestoanotherport,
butwillstillprotectagainstconnectingmultipledevicesonasingleportandwillprotectagainst
MAC
addressspoofing.
Ifyouwishtohaveonlystatically setMACs,setaport’sfirstarrivallimitto0.
