TheshutdownformofthiscommanddisablesaninterfaceforIProuting.
Example
ThisexampleshowshowtoenableVLAN1forIProuting:
B3(su)->router(Config)#interface vlan 1
B3(su)->router(Config-if(Vlan 1))#no shutdown
no ip routing
UsethiscommandtodisableIProutingonthedeviceandremovetheroutingconfiguration.By
default,IProutingisenabledwheninterfacesareconfiguredforitasde scribedin“Configuring
RoutingInterfaceSettings”onpage 17‐1.
