8.1.1 show-devs Utility
The show-devs utility displays the devices installed in the Sun Blade 1500
workstation recognized by the OpenBoot PROM. For example:
If an installed device is missing from the list, check slot or cable connections of the
suspect device.
8.1.2 watch-net Utility
The watch-net utility displays packet activity on the primary network connection.
For example:
■ If no periods (.) are displayed, then no network activity is detected. Check the
Ethernet cable.
■ If Xs are displayed, then the network connection has too many collisions or
packets are being corrupted or dropped. Check the overall network status.
