8.1.1 show-devs Utility
The show-devs utility displays the devices installed in the Sun Blade 1500
workstation recognized by the OpenBoot PROM. For example:
If an installed device is missing from the list, check slot or cable connections of the
suspect device.
8.1.2 watch-net Utility
The watch-net utility displays packet activity on the primary network connection.
For example:
If no periods (.) are displayed, then no network activity is detected. Check the
Ethernet cable.
If Xs are displayed, then the network connection has too many collisions or
packets are being corrupted or dropped. Check the overall network status.
