(8) Do these steps to connect the bonding jumper [2] to the ram air valve [1]:
(a) Apply a thin layer of compound, C00852, to the bolt [11].
(b) Install the bolt [11], washers [12], bonding jumper [2], and nut [14] to the bonding tab.
(c) Tighten the bolt [11] to 48 ±3 in-lb (5 ±1 N·m).
NOTE: This torque value is in addition to the torque necessary to overcome the
self-locking devices.

(9) Use the intrinsically safe approved bonding meter, COM-1550, to measure the electrical
resistance between the electrical connector [3] shell and the airplane structure (SWPM
20-20-00).
(a) Make sure the electrical resistance between the electrical connector [3] shell and the
airplane structure is 0.010 ohm (10 milliohms) or less (SWPM 20-20-00).

(11) Apply the sealant, A50296, or sealant, A50103, to fully cover the terminal on the bonding
jumper [2], bolt [11], washers [12], nut [14], and the exposed conversion coating on the
bonding tab.
