F. Static Inverter Removal
SUBTASK 24-34-21-910-001
CAUTION
DO NOT TOUCH THE STATIC INVERTER BEFORE YOU DO THE
PROCEDURE FOR DEVICES THAT ARE SENSITIVE TO ELECTROSTATIC
DISCHARGE. ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE
STATIC INVERTER.
(1) Before you touch the static inverter [1], do this task: ESDS Handling for Metal Encased Unit
Removal, TASK 20-40-12-000-802.

(2) Do these steps to disconnect the static inverter [1]:
(a) Remove the electrical connector from the static inverter [1].
(b) Remove the screws [8], lockwashers [9], and washers [10] that hold the terminal block
covers.
(c) Remove the terminal block covers [11].
(d) Put tags on the wires to identify them for installation.
(e) Do these steps to remove the wires from the terminal studs of the static inverter [1]:

ILF 101, 151, 156-199, 301, 304, 308, 310, 314, 315, 317-319, 323, 331-399, 401, 402, 405, 406, 409,

535-537, 541, 542, 552, 554-557, 559-564, 567-569, 571-577, 581, 583, 585, 588, 671, 672, 703,
707-710, 803-813, 821, 822, 831, 832, 836, 837, 841, 842, 851, 852, 854-858, 861-863, 871-874, 947,
948, 968-971, 973 PRE SB 737-24-1205; AIRPLANES WITH STATIC INVERTER WITH LOCKWASHER
HARDWARE CONFIGURATION
1) Remove the nut [2], lockwasher [3], and washer [4] from the terminal stud.
2) Remove the nut [5], lockwasher [6], and washer [7] from the terminal stud.
3) Remove the wires.

4) Remove the locknut [12] and washer [4] from the terminal stud.
5) Remove the locknut [13] and washer [7] from the terminal stud.
6) Remove the wires.

(3) Remove the static inverter [1], do this task: E/E Box Removal, TASK 20-10-07-000-801.
