D. Thermal Switch Removal
SUBTASK 30-41-31-020-001
(1) Remove the thermal switch [2].
(a) Disconnect the electrical leads [1] from the thermal switch [2].
(b) Pull the spring from the thermal switch [2].
(c) Remove the thermal switch [2] from the window.
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the fairing compound. If the switch does not come off
by hand, you may tap the switch side with a no bounce hammer. If you use a
hammer to remove the switch, you will have to discard the switch.
