STARTER - SERVICING

1. General

A. This procedure has two tasks:

(1) Starter Oil Servicing (Oil Drain)

(2) Starter Oil Servicing (Oil Fill).

2. Starter Servicing (Oil Drain)

(Figure 301)

A. General

(1) This task provides the instructions on how to drain the starter before you remove it from the

engine.

(2) This procedure uses a tool at the magnetic plug housing to drain the oil from the starter.

(3) The starter is on the forward side of the accessory gearbox.
