NOTE: This procedure is a scheduled maintenance task.
A. General
(1) This task has one or more steps which are a means to satisfy Airworthiness Limitation
Instruction (ALI) requirements. An ALI note will follow the step to which it applies. Any step or
sub-step that precedes or follows an ALI identified step is not subject to the ALI requirement.
NOTE: This is applicable to Airworthiness Limitation 47-AWL-04.
(2) This task removes and bench tests the NGS thermal switch.
(3) The thermal switch (S01129), is on the air duct that connects the air filter to the air separation
module (ASM).
(4) You get access to the thermal switch through the underwing fairing access panel for the ram
air duct, 192BL.
