(1) Make sure that the mating surfaces between the panel and the structure are free from
contamination.
NOTE: Teflon is applied in the mating surface. The Teflon is not contamination. It is not
necessary to remove the Teflon.

(2) Make sure that the teflon mating surface is in good condition.
(a) If necessary, repair the Teflon substrip. Refer to this task: Bonded Teflon Rub Pad Repair,
TASK 51-51-00-340-805.

(3) Make sure that the designated electrical bonds for the panel can be identified.
