INTEGRATED DRIVE GENERATOR (IDG) - INSPECTION/CHECK
1. General
A. This task:
(1) The IDG Disconnect and Reset Check

(Figure 601)
A. General
(1) The IDG is found on the accessory gearbox on the left side of the engine fan case.
(2) A disconnected IDG that remains mounted to an engine for about 50 flight hours can receive
damage to the ball bearing assembly for the IDG input shaft.
