Remove the safety tag and close this circuit breaker:

(b) For the right windshield wiper,
Remove the safety tag and close this circuit breaker:

(c) Put the windshield wiper switch to the PARK position.
(d) For the left windshield wiper,
Open this circuit breaker and install safety tag:

(e) For the right windshield wiper,
Open this circuit breaker and install safety tag:

(3) Loosen the adjustment screw [4].

(4) Attach the wiper blade [9] to the arm assembly [3].
NOTE: When installing the wiper blade, make sure that the part mark is near the inner edge of
the window seal (away from the pilot and first officers view). The part mark and
indicated hole point to the left side of the aircraft for the pilot and the first officer wiper
blades.
(a) Attach the wiper blade [9] to the arm assembly [3] as shown in (Figure 201).
(b) Secure the wiper blade [9] to the arm assembly [3] with the nut [1] and washer [2],
applying 14 in-lb (1.6 N·m) - 18 in-lb (2.0 N·m) of torque.

(5) Apply grease, D00013 to the serrations on the adjustment sleeve [10] and the shaft.

(6) Install the arm assembly [3] on the windshield wiper shaft.
(a) Place the arm assembly [3] on the shaft in the parked position as shown in (Figure 201).
NOTE: Use (Figure 201) to determine the position of the wiper arm assembly and for
adjustment instructions.
1) For large adjustments, turn the arm assembly [3] and adjustment sleeve [10]
together on the wiper motor shaft.
