F. Prepare for Forward Wing-To-Body Fairing Panel Installation Procedure
SUBTASK 53-51-21-210-006
(1) Make sure that the mating surfaces between the panel and the structure are free from
contamination.
NOTE: Teflon is applied in the mating surface. The teflon is not contamination. It is not
necessary to remove the teflon.
SUBTASK 53-51-21-160-003
(2) Make sure that the teflon mating surface is in good condition.
(a) If necessary, repair the teflon substrip. Refer to this task: Bonded Teflon Rub Pad Repair,
TASK 51-51-00-340-805.
SUBTASK 53-51-21-210-005
(3) Make sure that the designated electrical bonds for the panel are identified.
(a) Refer to this task: Wing-To-Body Fairing Panel Designated Electrical Bond Visual
Inspection, TASK 53-51-21-211-801.
