(a) Make sure that to remove the protective backing on the panel side of the tape before
installation.
(b) Make sure that to trim the moisture barrier tape as required to fit around the gutter, seat
tracks, galley chiller cutouts, and monument fittings.
NOTE: Slit, notch, or cut moisture barrier tape as required to fit airframe structure
contours.
(c) Make sure that the moisture barrier tape does not adhere to insulation blankets.
(d) Make sure that to trim the fiberglass reinforced polyester to fit around monument
plumbing lines and fittings.
NOTE: Crease, fold, bend, or score fiberglass reinforced polyester to fit airframe
structure contours.
(e) If the clipnuts were removed, install the new clipnuts as follows:
1) Apply a compound, C00528, to the floor support structure at the clipnut locations.
2) To improve corrosion resistance, install new composite torlon clipnuts everywhere
on the floor structure at the floor panel attachment locations (preferred BACN11AL,
optional BACN10YDG).
NOTE: Be careful when you install the clipnuts to prevent scratches on the floor
support structure.
3) Turn the clipnuts clockwise against the floor support structure.
