43.2.4 Set Maximum Receiving Rate of ARP
Packets for a Port
This command is used in the layer 2 interface configuration mode, and this layer 2 interface
is a member port of SVI.
By default, the DAI globacl check switch is turned on, and the DAI rate restriction of all ports
is 15PPS.
By default, the default ARP packet receiving rate of each untrusted switching port is 15 ARP
packets per second. By default, this does not apply to trusted switching ports.
If the number of ARP packets received through this port within one second exceeds this
threshold, the subsequent packets will be discarded.
The rate restriction of each layer 2 interface can be viewed through the show ip arp
inspection interface command.
To set the maximum ARP packet receiving rate for a port, execute the following commands
in the interface configuration mode:

Snooping Database

If DHCP Snooping database is not configured, all the ARP packets pass the inspection.
