SHOW INTERFACE BRIEF
Syntax
show interface brief

Modes
Privileged Exec mode
Description
Use this command to display the administrative and link statuses of all of
the ports on the switch. An example of the information is shown in
Figure 51.

The fields are described in Table 14.

Field Description
Interface Indicates the port number.
Status Indicates the administrative state of the
port. The administrative state is DOWN if
the port was disabled with the
SHUTDOWN command. Otherwise, the
administrative state of the port is UP. To
disable and enable ports, refer to
“SHUTDOWN” on page 237 and “NO
SHUTDOWN” on page 211, respectively.
