source (ERSPAN)
To configure the Encapsulated Remote Switched Port Analyzer (ERSPAN) source interface or VLAN, and
the traffic direction to be monitored, use the source command in ERSPAN monitor source session configuration
mode. To disable the configuration, use the no form of this command.
source {interface type number | vlan vlan-ID}[, | - | both | rx | tx]
Syntax Description
Specifies an interface type and number.
interface type number
Associates the ERSPAN source session number with VLANs. Valid values
are from 1 to 4094.
vlan vlan-ID
(Optional) Specifies another interface.,
(Optional) Specifies a range of interfaces.-
(Optional) Monitors both received and transmitted ERSPAN traffic.both
(Optional) Monitors only received traffic.rx
(Optional) Monitors only transmitted traffic.tx

Usage Guidelines
You cannot include source VLANs and filter VLANs in the same session.
