channel-group
To assign an Ethernet port to an EtherChannel group, or to enable an EtherChannel mode, or both, use the
channel-group command in interface configuration mode. To remove an Ethernet port from an EtherChannel
group, use the no form of this command.

Syntax Description
Enables auto-LAG feature on
individual port interface.
By default, the auto-LAG feature
is enabled on the port.
auto
Channel group number. The range
is 1 to 128.
channel-group-number
Specifies the EtherChannel mode.mode
Unconditionally enables Link
Aggregation Control Protocol
(LACP).
active
Enables the Port Aggregation
Protocol (PAgP) only if a PAgP
device is detected.
auto
(Optional) Configures the interface
for nonsilent operation when
connected to a partner that is
PAgP-capable. Use in PAgP mode
with the auto or desirable keyword
when traffic is expected from the
other device.
non-silent
Unconditionally enables PAgP.desirable
Enables the on mode.on
Enables LACP only if a LACP
device is detected.
passive
Command Default
No channel groups are assigned.
No mode is configured.
